Taquerias and Meat Sandwiches

Taquerias in Mexico are small restaurants that specialize in really one thing... carved meat sandwiches.

You usually sit down at a table.
Once you sit down you are provided an order ticket to select your meal - sandwich, drink and maybe a dessert.
Then your order is passed to the meat carver and he shaves some meat off the giant spit.

Then the meat is plated as a taco (on tortilla), cemeta (on bread) or arabe (on flat bread). I like the arabe personally.

You're provide a selection of hot sauces and some limes to squeeze juice on your meat. I like to order a refresco (juice) like a horchata (rice drink).

It makes a nice snack or meal.
