Aquismón, Mexico

While staying in Xilitla I heard about a little feria (fair) that might be going on in a town nearby called Aquismón. Ferias can be social, religious or cultural. I didn't know what this feria might be, but I wanted to check it out.
This one turned out to be the religious festival at the iglesia celebrating the town saint San Miguel Arcángel.
They had a band.
They had babies.
They had boys in trees.
And this bella dressed in her best Huasteca dress.

Just a little taste of the middle of Mexico.
